FedPrep Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
FedPrep ("the app") is built to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Your voice stays on your device
When you answer a practice question out loud, your speech is transcribed to text on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your voice audio is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored by us.
Grading
When you submit an answer for grading, the text transcript of your answer (together with the practice question it answers) is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which uses an AI model to generate your feedback. Transcripts are processed to produce the grade and are not saved to a database, used for advertising, or sold. Our server keeps standard short-lived technical logs (such as IP-based rate limiting to prevent abuse).
Purchases
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
What we don't do
We do not collect names, emails, contacts, location, photos, or identifiers. We do not track you across apps or websites. The app's App Store privacy label reflects this.
Children
FedPrep is intended for adults preparing for federal employment and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
